About Us

FroggMag began with two curious travellers, Shalinee and Krishna, travelling across India, photographing its monuments and falling in love with the stories, colours and details hidden in its art and heritage. We wanted to bring some of that magic into everyday life — to turn the things that inspired us into art products people could use, enjoy, collect and gift.

What started with a simple idea has grown into a large collection. We love discovering the unexpected — an old art form, a forgotten palace, a folk tradition, a city, a monument or simply a story worth sharing — and finding a way to translate it into something contemporary and useful.

Along the way, our artists and craftspeople have become an important part of the FroggMag family. We work directly with independent makers and artists, commission their work and pay royalties, while continuing to support skilled makers through small-batch production.

Our aim has always been to bridge contemporary design with India’s rich art and craft, bringing heritage into everyday life in thoughtful and engaging ways. A puzzle that brings people around a table, a notebook that sparks a memory, or a detail of heritage reimagined to wear—made to be experienced, enjoyed and remembered.

FroggMag is our way of celebrating the India we love — its art, stories, people and places — and sharing them, one product at a time!
