Tipu Sultan’s summer palace or Dariya Daulat Bagh was built during 1778-1784 AD. Construction was started by Tipu’s father, Hyder Ali. Built with wood, mortar, stone and plaster this two storied palace though small, is stunningly beautiful. Every inch of the palace is decorated richly with paintings.
