Amer Fort, located 13 km from Jaipur, Rajasthan, was built by Raja Man Singh. It was the capital of the ruling Kachhawa clan of Amber. Unlike its imposing and rugged exterior, its interiors are ornate and influenced by both Hindu and Muslim styles of ornamentation.
