Tipu Sultan’s summer palace or Dariya Daulat Bagh, as it is also known, is in Srirangapatna, near Mysore. Built with wood, mortar, stone and plaster this two storied palace though small, is stunningly beautiful. Every inch of it is decorated with motifs, or paintings showcasing historic events.
