Painted Medallion, in Amer Fort, was built by Raja Man Singh. It was the capital of the ruling Kachhawa clan. Unlike its imposing and rugged exterior, its interiors are ornate and influenced by both Hindu and Muslim styles of ornamentation.
Seen on the clock face is a medallion that is painted on the ceiling of the ante-chamber in Ganesh Pol.
These brass clocks with domed glass, double up as paper weights. Details from some of India's finest monuments make them collectibles and wonderful gifts.
